Explore the wardrobes of 17th-century men and women in Plymouth Colony in this online talk on Friday, March 22 at noon by independent researcher, reenactor and historical tailor Axel Boy.  Axel will use written, pictorial and archaeological evidence to offer a basic description of the clothing worn by the Pilgrims. The talk is sponsored by the Alden Kindred of America.
Axel Boy has been involved with reenacting both as a hobby and professionally for the past 25 years. Over the last ten years he has focused on researching and reproducing clothing from the 16th and 17th centuries. He is a tailor for the New Plimmoth Gard, a group of reenactors portraying the culture and militia of Plymouth Colony, c. 1621-1646.
