Apples Over the Alden Hearth – A Taste of Home in the New World
Enjoy the sights and smells of apples cooking over an open hearth and learn how the Alden family may have recreated familiar English dishes in their New World home on Saturday, October 3 from 1-3 pm. Foodways historian Alexandra Cervenak leads this engaging demonstration in the Alden Center for Living History, with recipes for guests to try at home.

A new chapter begins at the Alden House Historic Site! The J. Alden & Virginia E. Keyser Center for Living History is now open, inviting visitors to explore immersive new exhibits and enjoy a guided tour of the historic Alden House.
Alden Haunted House
Ride your broomstick over to the Alden House for a spooktacular night of family fun, Friday and Saturday, October 23 & 24 between 5 and 9 pm.
Alden House Guided Tours
Guided tours of the historic Alden House are offered from June 3 through November 21, Wednesday through Saturday, between noon and 4 pm. Tours outside regular hours may be scheduled by appointment; email director@alden.org. The grounds are open year-round.
Homeschool Adventures
Homeschool families are invited to journey back in time to explore the story of Mayflower passengers John and Priscilla Alden through a kids tour of the Alden House and hands-on-activities.
