Myles Standish Burial Ground

The Myles Standish Burial Ground is located a little over two miles south from the Alden House Historic Site on the corner of Chestnut Street and Pilgrim By Way. To visit this site from the Alden House Historic Site turn left on to Alden Street for .3 miles and then a left on to Route 3A for 1.4 miles. Turn left on to Chestnut Street and the Myles Standish Burial Ground will be on your left hand side in .5 miles.

Myles Standish Monument

The Myles Standish Monument is located 2.5 miles south of the Alden House Historic Site atop Captain’s Hill. To visit this site from the Alden House Historic Site turn left on to Alden Street for .3 miles and then a left on to Route 3A for .6 miles. Next, turn left on to Depot Street for .9 miles and continue on to Standish Street for .4 miles. Take a right on to Crescent Street and the entrance will be on your right hand side in .4 miles. The monument is not open regular hours, but you may park at the base of Captain’s Hill and walk up the hill for a look. For more information on hours of operation click here.
