Grand Opening of the J. Alden & Virginia E. Keyser Center for Living History
Sunday, August 2 • Open House 11–1 pm
An event eight years in the making, the J. Alden & Virginia E. Keyser Center for Living History will proudly open the doors to its dynamic new space on Sunday, August 2. It is here that Alden Kindred of America will bring the Alden story and its center-stage role in the early history of Duxbury and Plymouth Colony to life in its bold new exhibit.
We invite you to join us for this exciting new chapter, beginning with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony and followed by an open house. Enjoy guided tours led by the exhibit developer; demonstrations and 17th‑century stories from New Plimmoth Gard reenactors; an appearance by Priscilla Alden; and a first look at the Center’s hands‑on learning areas and interactive displays.
This transformative project has been made possible through the generosity and dedication of many supporters, whose commitment to preserving Alden history helped bring this vision to life. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
