Pauline R. Kezer- President

Pauline Kezer is the current president of the Kindred, a position she has held since August 2014. A lifelong community volunteers, Pauline was the founder of the CT Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer and President of Susan G. Komen CT Breast Cancer Foundation, VP of founding board of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, President of the New Britain YWCA, and served for nine years as a National Board Member of Girl Scouts of the USA.

Pauline is has been active participant in both state and local government for over twenty years. She was a State Legislator for 8 years, elected CT Secretary of State from 1990-94, and appointed CT Asst. Treasurer in 1997. Pauline was the CEO of Hartford Ballet 1995-97. She ran KEZERCONSULTING for several years before her retirement.

Mrs. Kezer taught Women, Advocacy and Political Change at Central CT State University as an adjunct professor. She currently serves on the Gov. William O’Neill Archives and Center for Social Research and Practical Politics at Central CT State University. Pauline Kezer holds a diploma with honors from Waltham High School, a B.A. degree from Colby College in psychology with a minor in biology. In 1990, she was named a Fellow at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics.
