Mark Jacobson

A native of the Duxbury, Massachusetts area, Mark has lent his considerable fundraising and non-profit experience to such organizations as Duxbury 2020 and Plymouth 400. Mark has passionately pursued local historical research since completing his Bachelor’s Degree and Masters level course work at Frostburg State University, where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

Mark has spent his lengthy as a professional fundraiser. Variously as agency owner, partner, creative director, or senior consultant, he has consulted for, or directly managed, more than a thousand successful direct response campaigns for nearly 175 non-profits.

He entered the non-profit market when he built a direct mail fundraising program for his fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon International, and three years later established his fundraising agency, Development Dynamics Group. After merging his firm with another direct response fundraising agency Mark has continued to function in leadership and owner/partner positions with several other direct response agencies.

In their spare time, Mark and his wife Peg are avid antiques collectors and dealers, specializing in pieces with a Massachusetts origin. They reside in Duxbury, MA.
