Picked, peeled, pressed, and preserved, apples played a large role in the Colonial kitchen and on the farm, at Alden House and around New England.
Enjoy cider pressing for kids, crafts, and tours of Alden House Historic Site on Saturday, September 14 between 2 and 4 pm. The cider pressing and crafts are free. Tours are $8 for adults and $5 for kids and students. Registration is not required.
