The Alden Kindred of America proudly announces that it has been awarded a $200,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Facilities Fund to help construct the Center for Living History at the Alden House Historic Site. The Alden Kindred was one of 94 recipients in the FY2023 grant round, which awarded over $7.6 million for cultural facilities and projects in Massachusetts.
“Massachusetts is fortunate to be home to many museums, theaters, and other arts and culture-based destinations, and the Cultural Facilities Fund provides an important avenue for the Commonwealth to co-invest in their upkeep and expansion,” said MassDevelopment President and CEO Dan Rivera in announcing these grants.
