Lilly Cleveland – Member at Large
Lilly Cleveland is a genealogist with numerous professional affiliations and a nationwide client base. She presently serves as Genealogist for National Society of Colonial Dames of America in Boston. A graduate of Boston University, Lilly is a former board member of Alden Kindred of America and served as AKA’s staff genealogist for six years. She descends from both Sarah and Elizabeth and is the proud grandmother of Macartney Flanders Cleveland and Olive Cooney Cleveland, who both descend from nine Mayflower passengers.
Lilly has volunteered many hours researching and writing about significant artifacts in the Alden collection that have been shared with membership through the newsletter and website. She is currently working on a project studying the women who lived in Alden house during the Revolutionary War.
Lilly is a signature member of New England Watercolor Society. In her spare time, she creates watercolor originals, including Alden House and the First Site, as imagined. Lilly lives in Norwell with her husband Mark and serves on the Norwell Historical Commission.
