Grand Opening of the new Center for Living History

Grand Opening of the J. Alden & Virginia E. Keyser Center for Living History

Sunday, August 2 • Open House 11–1 pm

An event eight years in the making, the J. Alden & Virginia E. Keyser Center for Living History will proudly open the doors to its dynamic new space on Sunday, August 2. It is here that Alden Kindred of America will bring the Alden story and its center-stage role in the early history of Duxbury and Plymouth Colony to life in its bold new exhibit.

Join us as we celebrate this exciting new chapter with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony, followed by an open house featuring guided tours led by the exhibit developer, highlighting new exhibits and interpretive features; New Plimoth Gard reenactors sharing demonstrations and stories from 17th‑century Plymouth; and a first look at the Center’s hands‑on learning areas and interactive displays.

This transformative project has been made possible through the generosity and dedication of many supporters, whose commitment to preserving Alden history helped bring this vision to life. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
