Join us for a fascinating talk on Friday, April 17 at noon with Peter Arenstam, Executive Director of the Pilgrim John Howland Society and one of the region’s most engaging interpreters of Mayflower and maritime history. Peter will share stories from his work as a historian and award‑winning author, featuring his books The Mighty Mastiff of the Mayflower and Mayflower 1620.
A Plymouth native, Peter grew up on the water, apprenticed in boatbuilding, and later earned an MFA in Writing for Children. He spent more than twenty years at Plimoth/Patuxet Museums managing the Maritime Artisans Program and the restoration and sailing of Mayflower II. His expertise has taken him from the Smithsonian to Mayflower Societies nationwide—and even onto film sets. This program will be broadcast online through Zoom. Advance registration is required.
