Discover, explore and experience the world of 17th century “Duxburrough” as the Alden Kindred and Duxbury 2020 invite you to share the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Journey and Plymouth Settlement and this momentous event in American history. Duxbury’s first settlers were Mayflower passengers and their legacy is woven into the fabric of the picturesque seaside town. Signature 400th anniversary projects include marking of the 1623 Greene's Harbor path with interpretive signage; creation of a Duxbury Pilgrim sites guide; and publication of a commemorative book of essays, written by 12 historians, "Duxbury Our Pilgrim Story, A 2020 Perspective."
