Tom Woislaw – Member at Large

Tom Woislaw of Franklin, Massachusetts, has had a lifelong love affair with history and has spent forty years researching family history and genealogical pursuits for family and friends. John Alden was the first Mayflower ancestor he found early in his research and remains his favorite. He is a descendant of John and Priscilla through their son Joseph.

Tom is currently a Sr. Vice President/ Director and Head of Global Transfer Agency Application Architecture and Strategy at the Bank of New York Mellon. His career in Financial Services Technology has included executive positions at The Boston Company, First Data Corp, Sun Life Financial, and as a divisional Chief Information Officer at PNC Bank before its acquisition by BNY Mellon.

He has served in a variety of board positions with the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants and is currently Deputy Governor and Assistant General representative to the General Congress. He is a board member of the Stetson Kindred of America. a member of Historic New England, Plimoth Patuxet Museums, New England Historic Genealogical Society, Massachusetts Archaeological Society and USS Constitution Museum.

Tom was graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and subsequently pursued additional course work in Computer Science at Boston University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
