Evelyn A. Walker

A rare book cataloger and librarian, Evelyn has worked at the Congregational Library and Archives in Boston and Houghton Library at Harvard University among other libraries. Evelyn holds an M.A. from the University of Rochester, an M.L.S. from the University of New York at Geneseo, and an undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College. Evelyn worked as a guide for Alden House and has a passion for historic preservation and research, including the restoration of two homes; date board research; historic garden design and maintenance.
