The 18th Speak for Thyself event, hosted by the Alden Kindred on May 8, was a memorable evening celebrating three exceptional women who have made a lasting impact in their communities: South Shore tourism leader Michele Pecoraro (Plympton, MA), accomplished public speaking mentor Jennifer Cummings Hillery (Reading, MA), and visionary designer of business and community spaces Kimberly Phipps-Nichol (Houston, TX).
Additionally, Duxbury High School senior Maeve Downes was honored with the “Aspiring Priscilla” award, recognizing her remarkable potential and contributions.
These inspiring honorees embody the spirit of Mayflower passenger Priscilla Mullins Alden, who boldly spoke for herself and inspired generations. The Speak for Thyself Awards event was made possible thanks to our dedicated sponsors and supporters, who brought the community together to honor these outstanding leaders.
